C.C. is a recent graduate from Webster Conservatory in St. Louis, Missouri where she received her Bachelors in Musical Theatre and Fine Arts. She was well prepared for the rigorous collegiate program due to her prior training and studies at the Colorado Springs Conservatory. Through her life she has found passion as a creative by becoming a singer, dancer, actress, illustrator, composer, designer, director, musician, and teacher. She has currently partnered with Vortici, LLC. developing mission centric work bringing arts to more children globally.
C.C.’s dedication to the arts sprung from her love of the stage. Utilizing her notable range of abilities, she has performed in operas, plays, musicals, and original works. Her performance resume includes: Gypsy (Louise), Dogfight (Marcie), The Fantastiks (Luisa), Last 5 Years (Cathy), Cabaret (Kit Kat Girl), Amahl and the Night Visitors (Amahl, principal dancer), Songs for a New World (Woman 1), Midsummer Nights Dream (Titania), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Chip and his Dog (Princess), Tartuffe (Dorine), Down in the Valley (Jennie), Bending Towards the Light (Northern Star), Into the Woods (Clutch, Grandmother), Honk! (Duckling). She has also created many of her own performing opportunities such as a collaboration experience called “Beautiful Chaos”; A live performance project that is student driven with original music, choreography, and written word that is now in its 13th year at the Colorado Springs Conservatory.
C.C’s exposure as a performer could not quench her creative thirst, so her talents surfaced as a lighting, scenic, and set designer and as well as a director. Her work includes Oklahoma on Colorado College stage, Bending towards the Light, Jazz Nativity, Amahl and the Night Visitors on Pikes Peak Center Stage, Secret Garden, musical on Mezzanine Stage, Dreamality Haunt Experience. This work has made her realize the importance of arts education in all forms and giving back, hence launching her commitment to teaching and mentoring. She is a formidable vocal coach, piano instructor, dance and chorography instructor, and style coach. Other establishments, such as the YMCA, Boces Gifted and Talented State Program, and Trinidad’s Mt. Carmel Center, have asked her to enhance their curriculum as a teacher in residence.
Her career has guided her into Children’s Book Illustration where she is currently working on three projects. She has also been sought after to design art for pop artists and DJs. In her quest to create a greater understanding of the importance of wellness for the performing artists, C.C. secured her personal training certification in New York City where she has developed a strong and consistent base of clients who appreciate her vigor and devotion to health and wellness. She is a pursued Jazz vocal performer and has performed in clubs and venues across the US and she is currently producing her first album of original works.
